St Agnes 3-0 Perranwell
Perran fail to take chances but 3-0 scoreline flattered the home side.
Perranwell took their encouraging performance from their draw last week into the game at St Agnes. Samuel Phillips returned to the center of midfield and created a host of chances that probably should have been converted. Towards the end of the 1st half St Agnes increased the pressure and had the ball cleared off the line a few times by a resilient Perran defence. The 1st half ended 0-0.
Chances were few and far between in the 2nd half for Perranwell. But St Agnes were not really causing too many problems.
However a well worked goal broke the deadlock with 20 minutes to go, the reserve team goalkeeper who had shown very promising signs during the game would have been disappointed not to do better. Perran made some changes from the bench and pressed for an equalizer. They came close with Matt Rose missing the best of the 3 good chances. But another 2 quick fire shots from the home side saw the game slip away from a battling Perranwell side.
